I was totally first projecting on like the 5th subdivision level lol but I have been projecting on each level now and it turns out much better. thanks for all the help guys :D
The wear on the steel might be a bit over the top. Remember you can add wear in other ways. Here's a picture of a vintorez in use with the VDV 45th recon. Lots of dirt, particularly the underside / front of the barrel. The barrel also seems quite less reflective in some references like these. Also 9x39mm doesn't have a…
Bought it on Friday, been playing it while I was out and about all weekend. Fun game, really funny. Probably on my 5th playthrough now and seems like something I can do while there's down time at work. Only wish I have, is when playing on PS3 the 2nd stick could be used for aim/shooting and a buddy to join in. Great game!
Excellent point. SIEGE is the annual Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo held in Atlanta, GA. This year's dates are October 8th through the 11th. Since I'm not an official representative and haven't actually been before, I'm going to link more information so I don't say something inaccurate:…
Erick, what you describe is what the above shows what happens. (Unless Im misunderstanding you). It still treats the poly as being on a "square" area, and stretches them as shown. Thanks Poop and MoP. Yea, stretching was my final option. Still... seems rather. No. IT IS primitive for such a 3D program in its 7th…
This is my Nth try to use Unreal Engine for real time rendering. I am trying a switch and to use UE to get images for my portfolio rather then Marmoset, at least this is my goal :) . Really happy with this result. What do you think? Thank you. Software used: 3dsMAX, zBrush, MDesigner and Unreal Engine. Hair it is done with…
Heres a link to 2.1.6 patch RC1. Was made available May 5th on the Facebook support page.... Worth a try for some of you no doubt, but you might want to make backups of your current software. It doesn't say whether or not you need to install this over a certain version. I've got a question about it on the facebook page,…
I have a rigged character in Maya. I need to add/remove geometry to the model. How can I do this whilst preserving the rigging/weighting? I am relatively new toMaya, however in my last studio it was our main 3d program. That was 3 mths ago and since then I have gone back to using Max. My brain is a little hazy when it comes…

Hey Guys, I have been working on this for the last day or so. Its is like my 5th sculpt in Zbrush. Its of a character from an old TV show I used to watch called Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Would Just like some feedback on what need to be done better and what is already good. I have put in some reference images I used…
