Still playing around with some design ideas, probabbly gonna stick with this. The Weyland-Yutani logo is just a placeholder, figured it would suit the design. bkost: Have you checked Racer's tutorial on texturing? Ssjtroll : It looks great! Looking forward to the finished result!
Wow, hot stuff guys. really like the stuff. any changes to see more enemies and maybe some textures too? I would love to see the artwork hyper and bobo made. Keep it up! and drop me a line if you find the time.
Is that from something? I didn't recognize it as a symbol like say the nazi eagle, and thought it looked a lot like the triforce th... wait it's a standard warhammer logo isn't it? I should've guessed as much, but I have little knowledge of that stuff. Ignore me =)
under the netview (alt-5 shortcut) click on the xsi logo to go to the the local net view. from there click on add-ons and directx. find the material preset in there (not hard) and drag it onto your model. load up the render tree (7) to change the textures.

Not sure about international flights, but I've flown domestically within Canada with my computer disassembled, put the mobo, hdd, cpu and important stuff back in the product packaging and just took it on carry on. Had no issue screeners just wanted to take an extra look at it but it was fine.
Nice gun but ..ehem... low poly? 2k for a handgun isn't really low when a lopo character could be <1500 tris. Yeah it's baked down and stuff but... someone has to be a stickler. Also, you typed Specular and Normal wrong, so if using for portfolio piece...
