UDK-particle system not showing in editor.
I have created a candle flickering flame using cascade.Problem is whenever I drag it from the content browser into the level. It does not show up.I have tried scaling the emitter, increased initial size in the cascade and also saved my package. I am using png files as textures. -

I had tried that as well, but it doesn't seem to be possible. The issue is that you're trying to set up "main button + modifier key", and this is what happens: main Left click + modifier Num 5 : the modifier gets ignored completely, and this feels like a bug main Num 5 + modifier Left click : the software won't let you… -

I try to make anything looking like the example in help manual. But it doesn't work. Why? I also tried to use the random asset to make anything looking like the image attached below. (standard mat with variation shader). The random asset also doesn't work. -

@Fabi_G, looking nice! The only issue I see with this method are little polygonal diamond shapes where the metal arcs are damaged: either it's the contrasting color in vertex color, or sharp edges, or both, but they look a bit too sharp. Especially compared to the similar shapes baked into the normal map. I realize these… -
