1.- depends on what kind of weather you like... washington has super mild seasons. Highs in summer generally dont go past 90, winter doesnt get below 30 99% of the time. If you like snowboarding or skiing, do winter. Otherwise do spring or summer. 2. - I grew up on the olympic peninsula... if you dont mind camping or…
I'm not entirely sure if you're suggesting to attempt to salvage a project by appending the contents of a file that can't be opened? Sometimes it works, but when the RNA structure of the file is broken it'll likely fail and there's pretty much nothing you can do to salvage it other than relying on different backups. I have…
Cheers Eric! And interesting point. They should depict sort of gaps, showing the brighter cork inside. Main inspiration was this ref, but I see now that it might not be clear enough. Might be better to turn them into darker indentations? But I could certainly try making them in more of a crack like shape as well.
If the project is finished it will be portfolio worthy for sure, it's a cool car! As it is now, it's really hard to tell because you're missing a lot of parts. In max there is an option when exporting wireframe "u.v.'s" , you can take away the inner lines of the wireframes and keep the outter wireframes. Do not have 3dsmax in front of me nor on this p.c. but its selection…

Well done on the model. Making it on an ipad is probably like making the Eifel tower out of match sticks. If you are going to sculpt/model human anatomy its useful to have a great 3d reference on a screen next to the one you are working on. your second screen can be a really cheap one if you aint rich. Daz3d is still free…
