@roninfang: you need the plug-in to import/export .nif files for 3ds,you need the fallout mod manager to open the .bsa package of skyrim & you need nifscope to works with the .nif,that's pretty much all. on youtube there are many video about :) btw,here the unwrap of the sword.
I've baked my model from High poly in SP, but it has weird artifacts of chamfer in edges. I've made UV seams in hard edges, but this didn't help.
