Around 2016 I took a class at "Crehana" learning website for Zbrush and I started modeling Mink from Dragon Half as a subject for practice. Here's the reference image I decided to sculpt Afterwads I began sculping the model, although I had a prior knowledge on the use of Zbrush, it took me some difficulty to achieve a good…
Been having a few issues with Curvature maps not working on my latest piece of work. I'm doing a large portion of the work flow from nDo, dDo and using the nDo map converters as the work house to create most of the maps needed to plug into dDo The first piece was a pretty simple Pillar, I did have some issues with unwanted…
id pay alot if it cleans up booleans with good topology, wouldnt mind it being something like dynasmesh too if you could implement that. I dont like switching programs alot. Any screenshots so far? I am really curious
I'm running a i5-4690K, a GTX 970, and 16GB of DDR3 RAM. So I understand having to work around your computer limitations. Though I don't do character work, just environment stuff. Understand that you don't always have to have an insane polycount in Zbrush to get good bakes. It's tempting to crank up the Sub-Ds until each…
Thanks for your comments really appreciated! I will try to change the pose to a more dynamic one as much as i can,i have duynameshed already so it won't be easy to make changes for the hip in that great level but i can definitely improve this! Once again thank you very much!
Wow that looks amazing! I can't wait for this tech to arrive. I wonder if this could be used to improve things like dnyamesh. So as you sculpt you dont ever have to worry about your resolution or polygons getting too stretched it's all just handled in real time automatically. That would be awesome.
When I try using panel loops with the default settings I end up with a gigantic mess. I start with a dynmeshed object, use the slice curve to define a few poly groups, then hit panel loops. What can I do to fix this?
Depends on what you're making. If you're going to do something efficient and relatively modern like IKEA furniture typically is, stick to Maya mostly and dump it into ZBrush if you need to do details or specific weird shapes. If you're going to do sculpture-complicated furniture, I'd say dirty rough sculpt in ZBrush with…
Day 34 Medium Size Rock [hp sculpt] [WIP] 2.5h Round 2! Fight! I'm still trying to make it look more organic, however I do think this one looks better than the 1st attempt. Its still in the Dyanmesh state, I'm just looking for a good silhouette before I continue. All C&C welcomed.
Everyone in my personal life thinks it’s weird I’m trying to learn to sculpt as a hobby, but I found 3D sculpting apps on the iPad I already use as a drawing tablet so I figured it couldn’t be THAT hard to try it out. Well it sort of is and now I envy you real 3D artists much more. Flattery aside, I wanted some critique…
