[WIP] Hand Painted Church
My hand-painted texture skills are something I'm trying to focus on. Jfletcher (http://www.artpanda.co.uk/) was kind enough to let me use his church concept to bone up on my skills. One thing I do if I am having problems with hands, is to just look at my hands. They are perfect reference that I can manipulate to look at any angle. Really focus on the major forms of the hand. Break down the shapes, and really study the anatomy of the hands. -
Hard drives & airports - carry on, or pack 'em?
Pretty self-explanatory, really. I need to take a couple of hard drives with me when I move in a couple of weeks, and I'm not sure of the best way to do it. My hard drive hates me
So today I go to boot up my desktop and surprise! My hard drive is apparently non-existent as far as the rest of the computer is concerned. I tried switching cables in case the cables were bad, changing where it's plugged into the motherboard, throwing it in the freezer for a bit, taking a look at the boot settings to see… -

Your spot on with everything :) It completely lacks direction because I didnt really have one when I started. Its pretty much the first hand drawn texture I did so I hadnt a clue about anything else than I wanted to try and learn many different techniques :) But tbh I think Ill go back and change it make the chains… -

I have to agree with everyone suggesting you should loosen your grip. Try changing your grip style entirely even.
