If you cook normal maps, you will want the duel core. I cook normal maps 'all' the time, and with the aliasing at like, 7-15x you can bere tehre for a while. -R
I've dealt with the clueless public for going on 7 years now, some of these people are completely terrified of their computer, the computer is some sort of voodoo machine covered in buttons with wires all over the place.
did you try holding the power switch for about 7 seconds? Most computers are like that to prevent accidental turn-offs. Incidentally, mine does the same thing. No biggie to me though.
also try moving the uv editor display to the monitor 1 and see if that changes anything. I seem to remember having issues like this with maya 7 and whatever card(s) I was using then

Anyone else having problems with Marmoset working on Windows 10? It would crash on start up for me. Had some other software that wouldn't run so I reverted back to a Windows 7 image.
