Today I have undisputed proof of psychic ability. So I broke up with a girl about 1.5 years ago that I was good friends with for 3 years prior. We went out for a brief time (about 5 months) and broke up bitterly. Haven't talked to her since then but last night before bed I got an overwhelming urge to give her a call and…
I'm psyched! Tomorrow I'm meeting up with the folks at Flipside Games (company founded by ex-Blizzard North guys here in the Philippines) for a position as concept artist (lead?) After 1.5 years working in mobile games, I finally get a chance to get in the REAL games industry. In my country, this kind of opportunity is…

Hey Polycount, Like the most of the people browsing the workshops both here and on steam, i have been come inspired to finally make my own stuff :) . For newish to 3D and looking for free, you probably should be looking at "what restrictions can I live with" more than "what can do everything that I want". Probably, you're going to want to go with sketchfab unless you can see yourself building your own HTML5 launcher in UE4 or something-- Oh, though? maybe something like…
What type of degree you need depends on the country. Different EU countries have different regulations. There's no single "EU immigration requirements". In some countries it's fairly easy, in others difficult. You don't have to prove that your skills are unobtainable. The employer has to do it. The reason this is…
42/125 portfolios looked at for the mentorship, as you can see choosing 5 is going to be nearly impossible without having to dissapoint some people who were clearly qualified. I got some mails of people who are over-qualified too and while the notion of doing a more collaborative thing or a critique group would be awesome…
The problem I see is that you are rendering with Vray RT. That is a realtime renderer that is used to check overall lighting, but I don't think it has a good overall solution. In the common tab, under "renderer" make sure you have Vray 2.30 selected as the production renderer, and set Vray RT as the activeshade. THEN try…
