Yeah quad core is the way to go for any apps that can take advantage of it (stupid photoshop), and I'd definitely look into ATI nowadays... they're really picking up the slack. The 4850 in crossfire has gotten some fantastic reviews, and the 4870 alone rocks the 260/280 solo in higher resolutions and is only at ~280-350$…
Cody one of the things that helped me improve was to start making realistic models with pretty low poly counts with small texture sizes. It's pretty hard to make something realistic with nothing. No pose that was how i drew the concept. Actualy rotating the arms up a bit at the mo. 3500 tri's for character and weapon. Want the character to sit at around 3000, she's a bit over this at the moment. Yeah I thought maybe the hands were a bit heavy. Thanks.
