I think this is being caused by the weird Maya tangent space (based on UV winding order). It has been discussed recently in a thread I think you were involved with, Stradigos. TBH on a single mesh which shares a normal map on two sides I don't know of a "good" solution. I can suggest a couple of dirty hacks if you like…
Hey ya'll, Doing this on behalf of an author friend who's interested in hobby using 3D. He tried finding the noncommercial version of Max or Maya, but he and I can't seem to find it. The one where there's 3 year licenses per iteration. Did they discontinue those?
Thanks a lot for your input . I totally agree with everything you mentioned. I have to admit I've gone into the suit a little blind so I have made mental notes of all of your crits (hips, unrealistic folds over seams etc) and I intend to make them my first jobs when I get back to my flat after Christmas. Would any of you be…
Thanks for the comments guys! :) @Mateus : Way more than I'd like to admit! Around 16 hours. I'm more used to working with mobile budgets and the only characters I've sculpted were a lot simpler and more stylized. I'm really pushing myself to sculpt this to a detail level I haven't done before, but as a result, it's taking…

I'm currently working on the final assignment of this year, a nurbs model of all skeletal muscles of the human body. I felt like sharing so here it goes, I hope you…
