First: if you have a subdiv of 5 then the quality is irrelevant and if you have no creases then you don't get cubes like you showed and if you have crease of 1 then this means no catmull clark smoothing at all... so what do you want to show here ??? 🤷 (Maybe you are overthinking this??) Sounds like a great idea. It's basically the same as Microsoft banning you from Xbox Live because you were acting a fool, except Valve will allow you to un-ban yourself by paying a little extra. The 3D total tutorial was confusing as hell the first time I read it. Mostly because it was blending a bunch of textures and using some crazy masking techniques.
