Good Day Ladies and Gentlemen, I just started working in Substance Designer for some time now. Right now I am doing tutorials and having fun so far. My goal right now is to create a Rough Wood texture, which I will use for game assets. (Like this one) I want to use it for some game assets within a medieval setting. This…
Di$array: Thanks man, hopefully creepy in a right way :D Thanks for the crits man, it really helped me to see the design in another light, I googled some scarecrow pics, and lo and looking at those i kinda realised that the canvas hood and noose thing was way too characteristic to him, so i dumped the hood and noose idea…
hmm. well, i dont really sculpt wood. im usually not that anal about it. for the wood in our hook scene we used photosource (modified of course). the only thing I sculpted in zbrush was the ends of the planks and i also flattened some of the edges so it catches the light in the normal map and makes it look more worn. so…

I thought of having all in one trimsheet but Im afraid if this would lower the…

Click the gallery thumbnail to view the lager image, click the larger image to go back to the gallery. You need to work on your texturing. I would go into specifics but I don't have the time right now. It's not bad, but it isn't going to land you a job doing texture art. The best thing I can say is try to work on…
Hi guys, I'm wondering if you know of any good realistic wood texturing tutorials. Preferably, something more advanced and not bark but for furniture. Thanks!
