Modeling out a trench system?

for props, i just go down rabbit holes looking at old electronics, antique furniture, military auction sites, photography collections. there is SO much to pull from throughout history. ask yourself what interests you, open yourself up to it and start googling! Houdini is best of them all lol, ok joke aside so I stayed with 3ds max and based on my curiosity I went ahead and learned 3d Coat voxel sculpting just to do some relaxation concepts in between busy work life. Everyone was like Zbrush is for you well yes it is a must have tool as game artist but… -

That was long... and I skipped a lot of it. The part that interested me, the material set up can be handled a few different ways and get around some of the "not being able to rotate the object" limitations you run into.
