TV Entertainment Setup Help

I picked up a new tv from walmart off their black friday 1 hour guarantee deals, so tv was finaly in stock and I got it all hooked up today

my last setup I had:
satalite

ps4
receiver --- tv
xbox one ---- /
(all using hdmi)
now I hooked it all up exactly the same setup just using the new tv and my xbox one doesn't work but everything else does, if i plug the hdmi from the xbone directly to the tv it works but not through the receiver, I tried switching hdmi cables, using the same hdmi ports as the sat and ps4 because I know they work and still nothing
anyone have any ideas? I want it to go through the receiver so I get my surround sound

more info: I actually got 2 of the tv's and both have same results, I adjusted the setting of the xbone to 720p instead of 1080p incase that would solve it and no dice
ps3 works with hdmi into receiver
360 works with component cables into receiver (don't have hdmi for it, older unit)
so everything but the xbox one
