Thanks for doing this. To defend myself...the original mesh isn't bad ;) . The double or even tripple Vertices were introduced by a Symmetry Modifier I slapped on it before exporting...it seems like the seam wasn't aligned perfectly...or the weld threshold of the Modifier wasn't right...I should have checked the mesh… -

Select the mesh, right click, go to object properties and turn on "backface cull". This will turn the back faces of all polygons transparent making it easy to spot the ones that are flipped. The normal modifier doesn't unify normals it only reverses every face, so what was flipped is correct, but what was correct is now… -

can't imagine that - all what SnapShotAsMesh does is creating a world state snapshot as mesh : fully xResetted and ready to export without glitches or errors. I even used it for a vertex animation exported and created this way a snapshot every keyframe to export that particular keyframe state - so no problems with that. Or… -

Yep I agree with Naima. It looks like you used the mirror tool to flip the bird (heh). Just need to select the dark polys and flip them. The mirror tool, works by negatively scaling your mesh, which inverts the polys. Most of the time you won't see it until you reset xform or export to a game engine. It's probably a good… -
