Hi all! I decided to take part in Unearthly Challenge III. My chosen element is bone and the focal point will be a bone ship. Here is my moodboard. And here is a blockout: And here is also a highpoly of the bone ship. Hope to get some crits and comments :)
I am currently getting artifacts along the edges of my meshes when Post Process is turned on. Here are a couple images to clarify: tried adjusting all the PP settings (Bloom, Depth of Field, etc.) But nothing seems to be working. Help would be appreciated!
I've been pretty slow on this due to a few issues of figuring out UDK. I raised the ceilings a bit but mainly I was working on lighting with this update, any thoughts?

Hi there, I've got most of the core elements done here and I'm about to move into the smaller elements and props that should paint a clearer picture of the story I want to tell in the environment. So while I mess about with props and stuff what do you guys think of the larger strokes ? colour? lighting? etc

I have seen in projects, that people use animations from other games... Now my question is, how would one do this? I myself would like to use an animation from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, but I don't know how to get the animation. Are any programs needed? I'd appreciate help! Thanks...
Hey guys! Long time lurker, first time poster here. This environment was heavily inspired by games like Medieval : Total War, Epic Citadel/Infinity Blade and Mount & Blade (which rocks). It was more of a reason to try my hand at making foliage from scratch. Anyway, it's almost finished, but C&C is always welcome !
Looks like a nice start. Any idea for the lighting? UDK's SSAO is horrible by default, I'd tweak the parameters for that, at least for final renders. Looking forward to the texturing though!
