I just want to be able to see the underside of this coat, like on blender: I already tried Tools > Display Properties > Double to no effect. I'm on zbrush 2023.2.1.Help!!!
you could break up the UV's into islands with the boundaries as the edges you want rounded.... export as obj load into this tool then using the element mask in photoshop ..... add a gaussian blur and use the nvidia plugin to convert to a normal map..... for example a simple box uv elements (just each side)... guassian @…
Hello ^^ everyone im new to this forum and practicing 3D modeling, who's commissioning some friends atm to make some 3D character's. there being modeled using 3D max and Zbrush, for a couple of projects im planning. here are some renders of the characters WIP Cammy…
This thread has really helped me better frame my thoughts around AI generated art. The biggest surprise for me is how it's happening faster than I had expected and the most valuable part of the tool (the image dataset) is the least expensive (monetarily). While it's super awesome seeing such advancements technologically…
I am accustomed to use custom and often parallel or perfectly radial on cylindrical forms vertex normals and transfer them to lods . That way it works independent of any topology and through several lod levels usually . Support lops and bevels don't survive through lods very well . Also I often transfer /use same UVs on…
I have models in my hand that has lots of support loops and some of them are already subdivided. Also I got models from CAD softwares which has terrible topology. I need to optimize them fast for VR game production. Means I have to go very low poly. I need a tool for this. Does Pixyz software works better then decimation…
Thanks for all the answers and resources! 9) I found a good way to do this in my case was to hide everything except the mesh I wanted to unwrap. Probably there are better ways out there, but this worked for me. Update: I got to a decent finishing point but with lots of trouble baking a decent normal map using a round edges…
It is standard procedure to deny embargoed/warfaring countries and or areas access to dual-use items/ non listed dual-use goods. 3D Software can fall into the above mentioned dual use categories. When you can´t ensure its not falling into the hands of the other side, it might be ruled to deny it to both sides. ZBrush can…
So, I have my base mesh on a MR render layer ( so i can use FG , and another render layer with a software renderer override, which contains my toon outlines. I'm using offset mesh outlines because paintFX don't align to the profile properly. I have open edge and shader boundry outlines on. The problem is the open edge…
Most probably it's from some non tilable gradient or 2d transform in Designer but nothing you couldn't easily fix just in Photoshop pattern preview and mesh transform on a smart object if searching through Designer graph is too much of a pain. Sampler has some automated tool too but imo works so so.
