I'm not familiar with the app, but I'd recommend starting over and using photo reference/3d scan reference in conjunction with 3d anatomical visualizations. Also be wary of your overall mesh density. It looks like you're getting too high in your subdivisions before adequately defining forms.
Well, just scanning in a 3d model of musculature or anything wouldn't really help your learning or show your knowledge of anatomy ... that'd be like scanning a photo of a bodybuilder and using it to demonstrate your anatomy knowledge. That ZBrush ecorche is very nifty ... doing something like that, as Jaco said, would…
and even here this applies only for realism maybe, just like 3d production for realism has changed a lot. but stuff that can't just be photographed or filtered to look like you want it to look, will still have to be made just like it is today. the tools here will also change, but probably not as much as with anything that…
Few years ago I was using 3dCoat for retopology 3d scans. It was quite fast back then and I had almost no performance issues. Plus I could paint on HP scanned textures and fix bugs very quickly which was nice addition to retopology features. I belive there are some Blender addons for retopology that some people use. And…
Hey everyone, I am looking for those fantastic Stanford 3D models but for real-time. Does anybody know where I can find those nmodels like Happy Buddha, Stanford Bunny, Dragon, Lucy, etc... but in low polygon resolution with normal maps ? Thank you very much !
I would personally recommend doing fewer heads and spending more time on each one. There is value in repetition but going slower and trying to understand the forms is probably better for learning at this stage imo. I do see that you consistently put the neck too far back, would bring that forward quite a bit. What kind of…

your theory is good, but only problem is the cloth it drapes by simulation only works for that pose and that pose only. it also shrink wraps to the model or leaves inflated cloth. that makes the end result very recognizable as something simulated and static and not really dynamic(drapery that works in multiple poses) i…
Thanks ! Ok so it's bean a long time since my last update ! So now my shader is ok and ready to use and now I'm focusing on Skin. It is based on a shader I did on UDK ( http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98253 ). The SSS part, based on Eric Penner's work use a lookup texture, see…
My advice would be to forget about textures and rendering for now because there are a number of things to fix in the high poly. Like brian asked earlier, what are your references? And if you´re not using any then I´d start by getting a few. Like grabbing images from a scan like…
