Dear all, I am currently developing a videogame for the iOS platform in UDK. It is a point-and-click videogame inspired in Broken Sword, Maniac Mansion, Indiana Jones but in real 3D. I currently have the main character modelled but I need an animator to rig and make the animations of idle and walk. Please mail me at…
Hi, I'm a student digital arts and animation and I'm trying to create a nice animation piece for my reel. I've done most of the blocking and some of the detailing right now, but it just feels really boring and flat. Any critiques or tips on how to make it more alive/ fun to watch or just better are really appreciated!…
Hi guys, I have two characters that I'm needing to animate for a short 1 - 1:30min film. The environment all stays the same. I'm just wondering if it would be easier to animate them both in separate files and then import one into the other? How do I go about importing and exporting fully rigged, animated characters between…

Hello, I am trying to figure out how much an artist or freelancer would cost and what the best way is to get what I need. I need a certain amount of models and assets, which should also be animated. In detail, I need two environment packs with fitting enemies, assets etc. These should be created exclusively for my game…
When animating the character through the scene instead of doing an in place walk cycle it helps to have IK on the feet so you can lock the feet in world space and keep it from slipping around as you move the root node/COG. Various rigs do this in different ways normally there is some kind of pivot placement you can also…
The animation is 23 frames, 24fps, which I have set up in marmoset. The animation loops in Maya and I checked it in our school 3D engine and it loops. But in marmoset it studders on the last frame which makes it not loop (and it looks wonky) :( Does anyone know why?
Your game animation video shows a lot of popping in certain parts of the animation, and in general the run cycle lacks weight (its like hes trying to run underwater). Having your animations running in-engine is good, but you should really have a video that's dedicated to showing just the individual animation cycles.
Not that there's anything wrong with Maya, but it seems to be the only option if you want to focus on serious rigging/animation. Is there any other tool out there right now that specializes in animation that is as good or close and user-friendly?
