Hi all — I’m developing a custom 3D framework inspired by sixth-generation console visuals (think PSP / early PS2). I’m looking to commission two clean, animation-ready humanoid base meshes — one male and one female — that I can use as the foundation for clothing and character variants. Project Overview The meshes will…
It's an interesting character idea, but it's not nice looking composition-wise to crop a character at the wrists. You'll probably want to frame it a little differently, and make sure you're not just leaving out the hands because they are hard to draw. Some gnarly looking hands could add a lot to this character.
well, you could say the same about sculpted creatures, realistic weapons or hard surface enviro assets. if someone's hand pained stuff looks cliche it's probably because it sticks to some very popular art style, rather than due to the fact that it's hand painted.
You might want to repost the images with more of the character and less of the background. It's hard to tell much rom those images. but the thumb position looks very harsh - have a look at the position of your own thumb when your hand is relaxed - it's almost 90 degrees to the rest of the hand.
Heheheheh I love the title and concept behind the game! The mech is a bit hard to read right now at the joints of the legs and hands and the head tbh, have you considered giving him huge knees, feet and hands, and perhaps a bit bigger head? Love the back design, keep it up.
Hey there :) I'd suggest hiding the projects in your portfolio that I've put a red x on. You've got some neat art in there :) The bedroom and the clock are my favourites. Keep pushing forward. A lot of your art has a blocky vibe going on, maybe break out of that and start giving meshes curves and more interesting shapes…
I started to have a tingling feeling in my hand but that disappeared when i started doing wrist exercises. I started with this :http://www.sportfood.nl/expand-your-hand-bands/ and after a month or so with these: http://www.sportfood.nl/grippers/ Every other day i exercise for a couple minutes with the gripper.
i imagine mirror's edge might have been a bit of a hard sell to the publishing side at EA without the player being able to run and gun. personally i think this one could have been more fun with less gunplay and more fluid hand-to-hand combat indeed.
I'm a programmer / developer working on a small commercial game that I plan to release, and I need an enthusiastic and reliable artist to handle the art and collaborate on gameplay. The game is a skill-based futuristic sports game, similar to soccer, with a strong story-line and plot. The story will be humorous and the…
I'd add some wear around the handles. The soldier's greasy oily hands would wear the wood varnish/stain down a bit. I dig SupRore's wood paint over As for the model cuts and what not, I'd suggest completely smoothing the wood areas out. The handles got jagged edges that are noticeable (finger indent areas) yet you…
