Isn't ipackthat now unsupported? It's also slow - unfold 3d is super fast. Unfold3d has been integrated (partially) into maya since 2017 so I'd say quite a lot of studios are taking advantage of it. -

Thx, using "retargeting" keyword gave me some great pointers to go on learning. I was also looking at this video for Maya 2017 Update 3 about bake deformer tool, which looks promising. -

Max 2017 revamped the old boolean tools/algorithm. I haven't tested it enough Vs ProBooleans or used Modo Booleans so I can't comment. Just thought I'd let you know. -

It works for me in 2016.5. And also in 2017. Whoever made that script is really terrible at writing installation instructions. Is your script in the right location? Mine works in this location: C:\Users\{your name})\Documents\maya\{version}\prefs\scripts -
