Hello! Sorry if this isn't where/how I'm supposed to ask, I have never posted before. Creating this texture is part of a school project. Only one of my instructors knows 3D software well enough and he doesn't usually answer me when I have questions. I only have access to Blender, Substance and ZBrush. I began by modeling…
Hey guys, glad to hear you're liking the changes. I've made some further adjustments. I also realized I was saving my updated file to the wrong folder haha. Re-download now for significant modifications. I shifted some elements around to accommodate this. I don't think button highlighting is possible so I went with the…
Johnathan Williams still has some public videos of his edge modeling and facial topology series from the late 2000's and early 2010's. This is fairly representative of how things were typically done prior to digital sculpting. At least for those using open source tools from the period. Tool sets do vary but a lot of the…

Seconded. Hate Flash for the reasons Chris mentioned. Spend time creating assets for your portfolio instead of spending that time in Flash on something that won't really benefit you in any way. :) Just looked your site over. Some notes: 1) Low-quality thumbnails. 2) Right\left arrows in Environments loop back to the…
Alright, had to take a few days on hiatus, but I finally got the UV's Finished and Scaled to match. It's obviously waaaaaay too much surface information to cram into the tiny little UV Square, and trying to fit everything in there while maintaining proper scale would really hurt some of the smaller components (trigger,…
thanks Donavonyoung ! here is our hero, miserable hero ! here is just back story of Roger which i wrote it before designing him ! i found out the back story as a import of character designing in Creative Character Design book by Bryan Tillman. Back-story Roger Blank is born in New York in 1976. His father Max Blank was a…
So this is kind of tricky but I got it working with Unreal and should work with other games. You are totally on the right path, but there are quite a few little steps you have to take since the rig isn't really meant to work with games, there are a bunch of end joints you don't need and cause issues in engines, and yes you…
Hey ! You've finished it ! At least it's something. Posing is not as hard as animating but it's already something not as easy as it may seem and stiffness is not such an easy task to get rid of. The more you'll want to make your character/scene alive, the more complicated it will be to do, ligth, camera position,…
you might have to adjust your camera for rendering, in the ref the staff if up close and you can see all of the details very clearly, but in you're there's way more blank/negative space which makes the staff feel small and unimportant. The textures and modelling looks great, so show it off!
