At both Universities that I have attended, I would say that 90-95% of people still have x86 windows-os laptops. And I'm sure that you know that there is a 64bit xp and vista which have no 3GB cap.
I spent most of my college years avoiding classes. I had a part time job making coffee and making websites, in an internet cafe. Back then (95-97) the internet was special and cost 10p a minute to use.
you now support linux and every other platform with an integrated browser which supports flash, while the unity web plugin only supports two. a market penetration of 95-99% is nothing to scoff at.
*Insert popcorn gif here* Perna knows what he's talking about. 95% of metal textures in games (and the real world) have dust, dirt, grime, wear, oil, paint, rust, etc.
Been working on this, for the most part it is done, just have a few things to tweak, so I can say...about 95 percent done though any help would be much appreciated ((ugh I hate saving things as JPG, they look horrid))
I worked on this game for the better part of a year. Needless to say, I am quite happy that the game is averaging 95% ratings. Woot! http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages4/920720.asp If any of you like racing sims, be sure to check it out!
Took a long break from art for the last few months but got back into it recently. Managed to get this guy to about 95%. I appreciate any comments on the textures before I start rigging him in the next few days!
I'm curious how they are gonna pull of all the races in the Warcraft universe with actors. It feels like 95% of the movie is gonna need to be CG anyway, so why not go all the way. Unless live-action means something else.
Hi Sketchbook, third update! I'm nearly finished with the backpack, some minor tweaks that I left for tomorrow but it is like 95% done! It is modeled in 3ds Max and textured in 3D Coat and Photoshop. Hope you like it! Jo Holm
Been dicking around inside marmosets shader files, and experimenting with different specular shapes! Top row is default toolbag2 with gloss settings .95, .75, .5, and the bottom row is the GGX type specular shape with the same gloss settings.
