Yeah I tried to comment on some and get people to understand but the constant... Ain't impressive... Look at Crysis 2... or BF3... I don't quite think people understand that it was just a test to see how far you could push a tiny ass texture using different techniques. And those that are trying to sound smart and sound…
Well it looks like they already had the PC version up before the intro of DX12, because the pre-release shots of Forza look much better than the Forza they released. I can see them pulling another Halo 2 for PC here. Forza released for PC, but requires DX12, which in turn also requires Windows 8.
So the shoes i have had a look at,hopefully improved them ten fold. Ive added 2 ammo clips (still need to move hoodie into place) The bag ive added so that his power fist can be charged from batteries. And the glasses i have actually modeled =] Crits and comments more then welcome Scott
But wait I thought Unity was Mac only? Can I now develop on the PC with it? Basically this is what I'd love to do: 1. Use an engine to plop in a little world and character 2. Have them run around in game 3. Have it run on Iphone and PC is that possible with the Unity? I have a PC and would be developing on it. thanks! B
Check out the last few pages of this thread http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132602&page=5 They've canceled 2 games, reports say they are having issues paying people, they've told employees to not talk to the press, their new engine subscription model has been poorly received. It's been a bad year for Crytek…
Well I can't download and transfer my videos on DT which is fucking horseshit. So that's a no-go at this time. My Lynda tutorials were useless, not at all what I wanted. If this gnomonworkshop thing doesn't pull through I'm pretty much fucked I think. It sucks when you have 2 backup plans and they all fail.
So I tried all you discussed above and no change. I tried using both a combined proxy mesh called PhysicsMesh & having the 2 pieces separate in a group called brokentv_proxy_group I changed the mat to proxy also. any more ideas? I'd like to see someones Maya setup & multiple proxies working in CryEngine 3

Are all of your UV shell's stacked inside the renderable area? Or are the overlapping pieces offset one tile to the right, left, up or down? I haven't really used Marmoset that much but it could be that the xNormal baking settings could be incorrectly set and its out of sync with Marmoset? Earthquake posting the right…
Simple answer... Stack shelves or work in a potentially awesome game studio? If it goes wrong you can gaurantee you would of learned something from the job. Granted ive only ever had 2 interviews, my 1st 1 was really really awkward and cold and felt like torture the 2nd was amazing and wasnt really an interview ;D.
