Blender is only saving out one render layer at a time and I have to do it all manually, ex. My Mist Pass, or my Combined layer. Anyone have any ideas how to get them to all save out at the same time, so I don't have to go save them indivivually eacvh time I render something? I'm in Blender 3.1, thanks!
Hi guys. i was curious to find out if there is any way to improve resolution quality when rendering an image using GPU. Also in general could you explain why GPU quality is much more poor than rendering using CPU. Thank you very much
@Fabi_G, looking nice! The only issue I see with this method are little polygonal diamond shapes where the metal arcs are damaged: either it's the contrasting color in vertex color, or sharp edges, or both, but they look a bit too sharp. Especially compared to the similar shapes baked into the normal map. I realize these…
Ey there Polycount, its my first upload here so... Hi there world :3 Im uploading a work from class, its a 3d model of the 2nd arc reactor from Iron Man 2, its made whit maya and rendered whit KeyShot.. So... I was looking just for a little bit of non contaminated feedback and every little piece of advice i can get from…
For your first render it is really cool :) There are a few things to do, but nice start. I would play a bit more with the background ( add a gradient or a structure ). You can also render out some different lights, so you can play in the composition in photoshop. If you google for BPR rendering you will find a lot good…
Hi everyone. This thread is for documenting the working in progress of Hum3D car render challenge. And I would like to get feedback and critique from you guys, thank you. So here is my idea...I choose to go for a handpainted, stylized render. I picture a peaceful camping night with bonfire, moonlight and a cartoon car.…
Bored at home. Wife is pissed I came home late to continue working. Designing our brand spanking new office space to start painting tomorrow, and instead of just painting over the pictures I made our office in 3D and am currently doing high quality rendering on a crappy laptop :) I'm bored, anyone have any entertaining…
hey guys, i have a question here that its killing me, I really hope there´s a way to do it. I need to bake a 8 million mesh high and I need to setup a network rendering (small renderfarm) to bake it. But I dont seem to find where and how. I already have 4 pc setup with mentalray standalone. Any ideas? Is that the same as…
Browsing the forum I found this link: http://www.gamasutra.com/features/20061019/kojesta_01.shtml It's a nifty way to eliminate texture seams using rtt. It all works fine till I have to render in uvw chanel 2. All I get is a solid color; the whole area of the render(no UVW outline). I've tripple checked my steps and know I…
Hi! I have not used Unreal Engine properly, but the idea should be the same. Sounds like a Stencil Buffer friendly solution to your problem. I'm assuming the bottom right screenshot is the desired result right? You could try something like this: - Check if the materials, shaders or 'object renderer' have control over…
