Thanks guys! @danjohncox All the doors except for Door 3 were modeled from a base concept. Movement is funny with forerunner stuff since it doesn't operate mechanically so turns out the models line work dictated a lot of its movement. We found that moving in a direction against the grain of the main lines tended to look…
Hi Draffin, Most freelancers will figure out their desired hourly wage based on their current situation (how much per month will cover the bills, plus a little divided by how many hours they plan to work). Then estimate how long the job will take, factor in some time for changes and multiply that by your hourly rate. You…
Hello! I'm an experienced 3D environment artist and I'm currently looking for a new job. I've worked at Electronic Arts and Inflexion in the past. Currently I'm living in Vancouver so unless the job is there, remote would be preferred. Examples of my work can be found here. Feel free to request a resume too. Thanks and…
Thanks! The books were the most satisfying part for me as the whole thing felt off before I got them in the scene. It's only 5 different models, each with a unique set of details on the texture sheet. The heavy lifting is really being done by the master material I made in UE5 that's giving color and wear variety based on…

Hello, I am having trouble solving this issue. I need the handle of the pot to be thinner... if I select the polys, vertices or edges and scale them down, it scales also the dimensions of the handle. Is there a way to make just the handle thinner without having to scale the selected polys? here's an image: Thx for help!
Oh man I always wanted to participate in one of these so badly.. So here it goes. I will be doing feedback starting with my next post. I hope that's ok! I picked the second concept "blade nare" by Q -peng. First I made notes on whatever stood out to me when I looked at the concept. I also made a list of steps so I wouldn't…
