i just tested the new compile briefly on max5.1, and copying the dll you supplied this time to max's root made the difference. unwrapping results seem very comparable to blender's indeed. also, a working relax would be more than handy. i dislike the strange and - as usual - rather inconvenient procedure in max8, too.…
