Yes, the bolts are not combined with geometry beneath. And I use a second bake to fix the black spots underneath - because when the mesh will LOD, the bolts disappear and black spots will be visible. @bkost wedge/ramp you have at the end of the forearm is not quite correct , that form should continue over carpal bones as whole form is created by bones + tendons + bursa [+ fat if there is any]
