Lots of good advice so far. It's probably worth using all this feedback to create a few samples then compare the results, from a typical player's point of view, to see what works and what doesn't. Though it's also worth asking: How sharp is sharp enough and how good is good enough? As an example: Here's three cylinders…
Hey All :) Just wanted to ping this your way. It's game related, and I figured this could be quite a useful tool for the various game projects out there. I've created a site which aims to provide a series of mini websites, or profiles, for amateur gaming projects called EnGamer: http://www.engamer.net/projects The purpose…

I like your attention to detail as far as I can tell a very high degree of accuracy going on here, just by zooming in on those tracks (...btw an element that's kinda my thing) because usually not only the largest part but also screen space coverage as well, so stands to reason if modeled correctly then consistency will…

We are now entering the first phase of prototyping, which will focus exclusively on gameplay development in Unreal Engine 5. The…
Is there any way of copying the contents of one project into another project. Say I make a gun... set up all my materials and masks + settings... I then make Gun 2 and want to use the same material setup. I want to grab all my materials and masks from Gun1 and paste it into Gun2 but use the new texture maps from Gun 2..…
I'm thrilled to share my new environment project, "The Heart of the Forgotten Hall" — a post-apocalyptic scene where nature, especially animals, reclaims brutalist ruins. Inspired by Nier Replicant and Control, it explores the contrast between architecture and instinctive resurgence. Here are the tools I used Blender…
@Deqa Here's your problem. You got mismatching amts of edges from the collar element to the shirt. The poles will also not give the best results of course, so add more edges if needed. Keep your elements symmetrical and evenly spaced edges/polygons too, before you morph them/project. Either fix the mismatching amt of edges…
