If you're on 3dsmax 2010 or lower you'll need to use one of several UV alignment scripts that where floating around before they included the feature into 3dsmax. James Haywood and Neil Blevins both have good UV align scripts. I wrote one for myself that works just like NoltaN described.…
Found the models, wow they where buried deep. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2336353/TF2WeaponC_ModelSouceFiles.zip It's not all of the weapon models, just the majority of the C models, I never got around to doing the V or W models. A few notes about the zip: * For each weapon I did de-compile, all of the original game files are…

If you hurry over to the Thread of Awesomeness, you can still get your hands on a drawing of a spider valued at $233.95. Sure it's worth more than $20, but he might not know its true worth. Other than that, how about finger paints or maybe stuff for sock puppets?
There is a service pack for 2010 along with some other misc updates. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=9241178 But it doesn't take care of this issue. I've had it working quite a few times and it always seems to stop at some point. I notice its part of a series of gradual…
