Hello guys, i'm new to 3D as well as polycount, now i have a prolem with this normal baking situation, i've tried to find the solution on internet but no hope, please help me. How can i build low poly model to bake detail on this high poly model?
Hello, this is my first post here at Polycount, I'm a 3D artist from France and wanted to share with you some of my works. You can see more by visiting my website http://florence.lapalu.free.fr Comments and critics are welcome. I wish you all a merry christmas.
I WOULD LOVE CRITIQUES :) Hi, I am a 2nd year at Staffordshire university studying Game Technical Art, here you will find mainly 3d, and on occasion maxscript and materials in udk. I am new to Polycount and would love to get involved in your community Thanks:)
Hey everyone! I just wanted to post that I got my first internship for doing 3D. I just want to thank all of you polycounters for helping me get to this first step with all your critiques and advice driving me to get this far. :) Thank you!
Hi there and welcome to Polycount. If you'd like to ask for career advice, then Career & Education is the place. But I've moved your topic to 3D Art Showcase & Critiques, where crits normally go. Hope that's ok, and this should bring you more crit eyeballs too!
you should do these models for yourself. To learn something new about game art & 3d and not just to impress others. Especially when most of the people here on polycount have been working in game industry for a long time and are not so easily impressed.
The last work of 2012! It's been a good year, learnt a ton as far as art and 3D is concerned. Got a great deal of freelance work, done well in university, met some great new people (polycounters too!). I hope 2013 is going to be as awesome.
Hey crew! :) First post here since the website-update. Made this concept for my buddy Renaud Galand (https://www.artstation.com/artist/renaudgaland), who will hopefully find the time to turn it into a 3D model and physical collectible. Looking good Polycount :D Cheers!
Hello! I am new to polycount, but would definitely be interested in a collaboration project of some sort. I can model in Maya, UV unwrap, texture in Photoshop, and know the Unity 3d engine. Oh, and I am a student studying Game Art and Design.
