if you have access to tf2 assets i recomend you to study them thoroughly , diffuse, spec etc , that will give you ideas on how to treat gunmetal etc on their engine :) good luck !
That works in max, Per, though to a VERY limited extent. You can only use divisions. So if you put in a box dimention of "100/50", it will come out as 2, etc etc.
Hey guys, I know it's a very dull question overall, but when it comes to game art, what mostly sells in the UE4 market place? What people look for? Full environment? Weapons? Sci fi things? Stylized? etc etc
The obvious poll... Keep it fair only one vote each etc etc Non US citizens it is not fair to you cast your vote in a US election but so as not to feel too left out take the honnary US citizen poll... tpe

I noticed this article on the BBC News website and thought it would be a good read. Check it out, it kind feels like it's a throwback to when an individual programmer could sit in his room and make a new phenom game etc etc. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-10937388
Hey hey, I'm looking for books on lighting theories*, environment modelling (highres/next gen if possible) practices, texturing, etc. I use Max execlusively (atm) and am interested in current-to-next gen. tech. *Game related if possible. "How to light your models", etc. Thanks!
Hey. Im about to apply for a job as a character artist at a local studio and so have been getting my site/ CD ready. I was just wondering what people thought about the work on it...if I should leave any of the older stuff off etc etc. The site is http://www.fatcap.hostultra.com
I think you should step down a few subdivision levels and really nail the shape of the overall skull etc before adding eyelids and ear detail etc. Likenesses are not easy, keep at it.
@Ashervisalis Thanks !! Its not a opacity issue hehehe. it's a GIF that represents the steps of hand painting. I removed the double modules of the mesh to avoid problems of Bake on Normal, AO etc etc. Alex.
