I was watching Racer's AK tutorial and i noticed he had like a favorite modifier list above the modifier box. So he could quickly use the push modifier, unwrap etc etc. Could anyone tell me how to do that?
The icons are going to be that size, when you zoom in, to actually purchase a car, etc. when represented in inventory, etc. they will be smaller. So, what you are looking at are ingame sizes.
Your environment artists (not to mention programmers, designers, writers, etc etc.) are an inspiration. I'd love to apply, what are your policies on hiring from overseas? (Australian here)
It's not that hard to guess? Just make realistic art? Grounded in reality things? Sci-Fi with realistic materials etc etc, the rest is just sci-fi or fantasy dressing.
The least the artist wasn't a commercial artist. Rich people buy whatever they want, cars, planes, boats, rare imported flooring, fossils, historical artifacts, etc etc.
Some people are faster at creating a base mesh in Maya/etc. than using Zspheres/Dynamesh/etc. in Zbrush. The Maya method can be easier for starting mechanical models.
I mean, yes lots of games companies do share data (with outsource vendors, external partners etc etc). I don't have a lot of information to share on this though.
A real pain in the butt sometimes however I sense goodness. May the force be with "meat-lamb-chop-woodland-fellow"...etc, etc... And belated happy returns, too. vv
One thing i noticed is on Maya 2014,when you save your files on desktop(folder with scenes and subfolders for Exports/Textures etc etc),it speeds up enormously..
