Hey Manuel! Great concept choice. Ovopack's work is a lot of fun. I think you're off to a great start, but in my opinion there are some areas that can be improved. One, if you're going for a self-lit character, you'll definitely want to define the forms a lot more then you have so far. Greater ranges of values and color…
Hi @Eric Chadwick. Thank you for the advise, I started working on it, adjusted the intensity of the skylight a bit, and added some additional point lights without casting shadows just to get back the wall that disappeared in the back. Added some additional light catcher puddle with some animated ripple on it. Still very…
Looking great so far. Though I'm thinking the legs should probably not be so well-defined and muscled, compared to the style of the concept. They look a bit more like older-guy runner's legs, lean and tightly-defined.
As my title says, I am trying to render something for my class and the glass textures are appearing black, when in painter I gave them a blue texture. And it also doesn't let me use transmission.

I think you've already got a good understanding of how this kind of anime post-processing works based on your initial post (a faint blurring on a duplicate of the lines layer, some glow effects on the flats, some color correction, and so on). But, attempting to recreate it on your own lines and flats loosely based on a ref…
Hi all! I am about to get myself a secondary computer. My first drive was to get a laptop, but I realize that my needs might make the choice a little trickier than expected. So I thought I'd better ask for advice here. I am looking for a solution fitting the following : - Small form factor. It is intended to be somewhat of…
Got a bit tired of modeling the pieces, so I popped on over to ZBrush and made a column. Both of these are the same column, but the one on the left is lit using an image which is closer to the lighting you'll find in the tombs. I love sculpting stone damage, sometimes it seems like it's the only reason I have ZBrush!
I am struggling with warp projection gizmo. it's inconvenient as hell and always blurry . Does anyone know an easy way to fit projection like UVMap modifier in 3dmax? I hope I may missed it somewhere.
