My name is Ibrahim. I am solo-developing Sophie the Zombie-Girl, a 3d platformer stylish-action passion project. I have 3 years of experience working as a professional Unreal Engine programmer and solid skills in 3d, animation, concept art, and VFX. At the moment I am at a university and have a part-time job as a programmer on a large video game project. However, I am regularly working on my indie game.
I am looking for a 3d artist who can do retro-stylized 3d like in Jet Set Radio or Corn Kidz 64 or similar games. Most of the work would be on environments and animations. Generally, I can help with concept art, reference boards for environments, and all of the 3d tasks . However, since I want to keep the main team small, I would like to find a person with all-round skills in 3d and some solid skills in basic concept art and design.
Sophie the Zombie-Girl is basically a mix of Megaman structure, Mario Odyssey levels and 3d platforming, and Bayonetta/DMC-style combat set in a superhero universe. The premise of the game is that you are a superhero hunter with the ability to steal the powers of your targets, and you were given a mission to kill a target with an ability that makes them practically unkillable. You have 7 days to do contracts on other superpowered individuals to collect a kit of abilities that would let you defeat the final boss.
You can read a more detailed description of the game in a brief presentation below. There is a demo of the game that I made for a jam on itch io (only platforming and visuals). I would like to release this game in a span of a year. Regarding the revshare part, closer to the release, once our contributions are clear, we will divide the revenue accordingly.
Please dm me if you are interested or have any question.
