I've gotten at least 5 people emailing me about doing the "next big" NFT project over the last 4 weeks. I don't really care much about NFTs. The only reason why I mint my artwork as NFTs is to do so before someone else rips them off and sells them as their own NFTs. (actually someone already has with my most recent…
cptSwing, thanks! Glad my method wound up being useful Ravenslayer, I googled TexTools and then cried silently because it's only for 3dsmax... just like everything else :( Here's the link for anyone else who's interested: http://www.renderhjs.net/textools/
As an environment artist, if given free time to study something else, I would recommend diversifying and studying character art. [edit] I completely misread the question, thought you were an env artist asking what else you should study
Well, effity eff eff. I bought the ipad mainly for that reason and now you're telling me about this monitor? I should keep an eye out for these things. ;) I'm waiting for Scott Pilgrim on dvd/bluray. It's too wonderfully geeky not to have.

So far me, Vassago and IronHawk are on board. Who else wants…
I am not familiar with max, but I think the problem might be with any added groups or transforms and then the import settings in unreal. What I found in maya is that when exporting the skeleton, it cannot be within any groups. It seems that unreal expects the root joint to not be child to anything else, or it gets…
Vegetation needs some fake subsurface skattering ;) Shadows on leaves r too dark. U can fix that by adding a little bit of self-illumination to leaves' shader. U can plug the diffuse into the Emissive channel, but first u could Multiply it with a low-value constant in order to control the "subtleness" of self-illumination.
Great work...couple of questions if you don't mind, first,is it a postprocess material or st else?...and the rain itself,is it a particle system or st else?...again great job,i think it's the best rain system i've seen,ever...on any engine,lol...^^
Hi, I'm relatively new to Substance and I'm having an issue with my Ambient occlusions, they're projecting weird shadows on the side wall (image below) I haven't linked anything else because I don't know what else would be needed to troubleshoot, more than willing to send any more information if required I've tried…
