Sometimes when I switch to my mask it won't allow me to select a colour it will have another random channel active like roughness or normal and I cant fix it without closing and reopening. Is there another way to fix this or something I can do to avoid the issue altogether?
Basically the result I see in the viewport (with all the reflections, normal map details etc.) I want to be baked into base color. Can't figure out how to do it. Baked Lighting filter doesn't do that.
Hello, when baking the curvature map, Painter seems to make a cavity map. How do I export this cavity map? Below is a screen grab to help illustrate what I am seeing during the bake.
In my experience, Maya will import most (all?) textures in the sRGB colorspace, so you need to disable that on your normal and roughness etc maps. You also look like you might have different triangulation in Maya vs. Substance.
I'm trying to create a Carrara marble subway tile using the brick generator. Is there any way to get sharp square edges and corners? The best I have been able to do is attached and is very rounded. Thanks.
So all the other bakes are super fast and really great, but is there any way to speed the AO and the thickness? I am working on a character and right now these maps just take forever to bake, specifically the thickness map.
If you saved your file in the default SD library folder, it will always be read only. If you want to modify/fix the substance, open it from another folder than the library itself.
