Ok i checked all reference coordinates, none of them keep the Y axis always for upward, looks like the Z axis in 3DS Max is for up and down. Thanks. Cool reel. The style is quite different than mine so I'll try my best to give some helpful notes. * For the first scene, make sure to keep animating until/past the last frame. I can tell it's currently just a bit of interp between 2 keys for the last half second or so, causing the scene to die at the end which is a bummer… -

Face weighted normals (FWN) are a great and fast way to achieve that high poly look without wasting time going through the whole high/low/bake process. Also, dig up MoP's UV tools, he's got an align select to vertical, horizontal, or both (collapse) This is handy when you're in the original position, of having multiple pieces overlapping, and almost lining up but not quite. You can go through, select all the verts that should be together, hit collapse (doesn't weld them)… -
