Thanks @FreneticPonies. Appreciate the comments. These are all Game ready assets. Nothing in here is high poly. The tree vs the rest I agree about but I'm not sure how to make a higher ploy / detailed tree asset that is game ready and can be reusable throughout. If you could give me some pointers that would be great! D
Hello :) ive just finshed my first year of university and now want to build a portfolio up for placements in the 3rd year :D after playing Darksiders ive decided i really want to do a Cathedral. As well as improving my UDK skills i want to get to know Zbrush alot more too so i was thinking i could add some sculptures…
@Eric Chadwick, cool! This felt like a better alternative to sculpting detail, but I was vaguely worried that my reasoning for using this method failed somewhere ='D (Of course, simply doing it in texturing may be a better way for some of these usecases) The node tree is rather simple, but added a few more options:
global proc pressedBtn(string $btnName){ So I have script where I create a set of buttons layout in a Grid Format. The Buttons are created in a for-loop to save time and effort, they are being parented to Gridlayout. remakeUI proc is suppose to recreate just the buttons. So kinda like reset buttons. Unfortunately, right…
Your trees look a bit flat man, sure you can't do something about that? Trees with leaves generally have shadows on them and it looks a bit weird having all the leaves uniform in color like that. I really like the setup with the river and stuff, you should def go for a low-angle shot :D
I've been drawing characters and locations for my cousins D&D campaigns recently. I haven't played a ton of D&D myself but I am enjoying learning about all of the classes and races. That said, I'm sure that I will inevitably mis-represent some of the classes. Please feel free to call out an inconsistencies. I'll try to…
This scene is looking great, especially with the heightmap painting:)! I actually quite like the tree texture too (especially the leaves, I like the iridescent-y colors). Perhaps add more grain/tree-like knot shapes so that it will look more like wood, but the chunky feel is rather nice and unique. Can't wait to see more :D
So its not true to D&D? This alone makes me want to play it. Ive never really enjoyed D&D, no matter how hard i tried to like it. Ill give this a try. Thanks!
