Hi! I'm new to this website, and modeling in general, and have a few questions for you "experts". I've downloaded the trial version of Maya a couple of weeks ago, and I began modeling a wooden horse (like those you see in playgrounds, and here). Questions: 1. How can i make the model more smooth? i've hit "3" and this…
Im doing a project for a school application. Would love to get som critique on it since I have never made a horse and am not sure about how it should look. Its not finished, but I would love to hear what you guys think before I add more armour and such. Here are my main references:
Thanks very much @Rikard86  I considered making the arms like the design on the Priests of Norn card, but the background characters on Elesh Norn's card have more normal arms so I've decided to go with a more humanoid anatomy for them.
Hello everyone I am getting back into animation and have decided to make my own model and rig for it. I would like to see if anyone could critique my edge flow or any problems that may hurt me while i am rigging. I want to add more detail for a more realistic horse but i don't want to kick myself in the butt for messing up…

Looking down the road at the mountains and destruction of the sky, with no where to go around you but corn fields. Much more powerful and thoughout use of context than staring over a flat, dead field.…
Working on this horse I can't get out of this design block where the front leg connect to the body. Also, on the back leg in between the cylinder piece and the tail. Whats there currently I'm not a fan of. I keep going back and fourth with different things, always coming up either empty or not liking it. I'm drawing a…
Hey Guys! Few days ago I started jumping horse sculpt, but right now I think I'm hitting the wall. I would really appreciate your opinion and any comments that would be helpful in improving this sculpt. Right now its really low and I don't want to detail it before fixing some anatomical issues. As you can see I have the…
