jumping horse- please help! :)

Hey Guys! Few days ago I started jumping horse sculpt, but right now I think I'm hitting the wall. I would really appreciate your opinion and any comments that would be helpful in improving this sculpt. Right now its really low and I don't want to detail it before fixing some anatomical issues. As you can see I have the biggest problem with its front knees (but not only), I can't figure out how it suppose to look in that pose and I can't find good reference to refine it. Thank you in advance!
