Would love to see a more interesting shape on the big tree. The roots are nice, but floating. The main trunk is very straight, could be nice to make it a spiral or some other interesting shape, that complements the half-circle stage. For example, an old Juniper in Moab by Douglas Miller: -

Thanks Cglewis! I like the idea of the dead branches. I was having trouble with the trunk/ branch transition, so this might really help. I also forgot to add, this model is around 6000 tris D: that seems about twice as much as I see on other tree models (given, most of them are not tropical trees). Is this excessive? -
