I was watching 3DMotive's Baking Normal Maps - Tips and Tricks this morning, and Alec Moody described Max's Material ID Projection for normal map baking. It sounds pretty sweet, but I can't seem to find a Maya/XNormal equivalent (it's for work, and work doesn't use Max, so I'm stuck). Does anyone here know of a good Maya…
This is my first time working with normals, so I have been following along a tutorial, but still ending up with some crazy errors. So I have uploaded the project with all the needed files. If a kind soul would be so kind and look it through and tell me what I'm doing wrong, It would mean a whole lot to me. Please help me!…
So it's my final year of university and it's my big final project in the form of my honours. The idea is to create a new IP, based heavily on the Viking legend of ragnarok, I am aiming to create at least three "races" with fully realised home locations, armour and weapon sets and full fluff and mythology to go with them,…
Bad news: I've inadvertently lost all of the files for this project and will not be able to complete it. This thread will no longer be updated as I will be moving on to other projects.

Hi everyone!! I'm going with Akali for this contest. Looking forward to working on this character, as she is my favourite character in league. With the recent announcement of other "Project" characters just been released and wanting to work on hard surface characters. I put two and two together aand began this contest.…
I'd say I've done pretty well for the first project I set myself. Next, I will be having a go at texturing. Never have I done it before, I'm assuming the most common tool is substance painter. But before heading off I would like to get some feedback on this piece first :D
This is the Gold submission for my university project I worked on with three other very talented student artists. We still have two weeks to improve upon what we already have and I was hoping to be able to get some feedback from the Polycount community on how we can improve. https://vimeo.com/267763631
