it does seem like a high rez texture for something that would appear very small in-game. Really you should be aiming to match the texture to the largest you will see the object. So if the object is only ever going to occupy 128 pixels high on screen, you texture can be around this size. If it's going to be a handheld… -

www.newegg.com is the best place to shop for computer parts, i just got a 8800gt for like $120 from them, just make sure you have a pci-express slot or most of the newer cards wont work in your pc. If you've got an agp port you should look at something in the geforce 6800 range, i think those are the best you can hope for… -

Comcast increases speed..holy crap!!
These people continue to blow me away. When I originally subscribed I had a down speed of about 1,700 kbps and up @ 128. I got another increase a year ago of 256 up. Now they "give" me a new down towards 4 mbps and I measured the up at 370 kbps. I luv these people. Mind you I only pay $59 + tax a mo. including my tee vee… -
