having to log into polycount 2x to post
this happens almost every time i come here, browse threads, find a thread that i need to participate in, i hit reply it pops up the log in screen, i log in. i type my reply. when i finalize and hit submit, it takes me to a log in screen and tells me i must log in. i type my login pasword Rhinokey/Suprisegayfling and it… -

Wearing a cube on my "head" if I want to see the effect is also ridiculous. :D :D Is there any way to fix this? For recap, if I use a post process utilizing distance to nearest surface function in code, it only works if I have a mesh using the same function as a node, on screen. Otherwise I get black image. I don't know about Unity specifically, but because SSAO is a screen space effect, generally you can't use it in any sort of per-object way. SSAO doesn't really know about "objects", but moreso all of the geometry currently on your screen. Though I could be wrong. Could you do something like project a shadow decal… -

Thanks pior! Gave it a quick try on my Surface PRO as it's the more troubling of the 2 Screens and while not perfect it was quite a help - Took me a while to figure out how to get into the Application specific Configs. I wished though it would offer the option to change the scaling, still kind of small on the Surface… -

Can't speak for the AC team because I don't know what they used, but I believe that that is actually a common problem for heavy cloth physics in cutscenes or places where a character would be off screen and suddenly appear on screen - like it's really hard to have the position of the cloth after simulation memorized then… -

The underwater feel is good, I think some light rays and/or caustic effects would really take it up a notch. If you want HD screens in UDK you can use "Tiledshot "X". I think that you should make the main metal where all the nobs and screen are on, more bright gold. At the moment, its to dark. Also, add Arti or Claudia in the screen (Would be easy using photoshop),that way you can really make it stand out. Also, like cody said, add some shinny-ness to this. Atm the metal is very dull,…
