looking very promising for sure. i'll hold my breath until i can try the paint/smudge tools and see what kind of layer blending etc is in there. these features or better their lack of or a weak implementation in some 3d paint app usually make me go back to photoshop rather swiftly. good to see that they guys developing…

So I'm new to 3D modeling, and have made a few models in 3Ds Max. I am having trouble texturing my models though with photoshop, and the viewport canvas. My issue is that I don't know how to make it so my texture doesn't look all pixelated as I paint it. Here is a screenshot. Does making the UVW bigger or smaller have an…
I'm coming from lots of Unity experience but relatively no shader experience especially with these networks or nodes. Jumping into Unreal 4 and the basic PBL setup (Diffuse, Roughness, Metallic) what can I do to try and push more realism? Also this may be a good opportunity for other people to learn as well? I already sculpted some things to help me for the texturing, and the low poly version is almost done, even if i might tweak or add some things during the process, who knows ! I decided to create that topic to receive critics/help or…
I started coming up with ideas for this scene after finishing my last hand-painted project: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/wwXv5 I'm also going to be re-using some textures from that scene. I wanted to make something similar, but in a larger scale. The Idea is a castle that would fit in the WoW universe with Gilnean…

Ill be painting more more scars and scratched on her face once im painting the texture to make her look more experienced. Progress has been slow…
These look great. I personally think that low poly hand painted art (especially the simplified cartoony sort of stuff you're making) has a certain charm in its low-polyness, if that makes sense. The chunkiness of the geo adds to the charm. I think for the cactus though there needs to be some sort of transition between the…
