Hello, my name is Richard Goodmon and I'm currently looking for animation work, either full time or part time. I'm confident animating in Maya and Blender, and am able to rig basic characters in Maya if necessary. I live in New Zealand, hoping time zones won't be an issue. Here is a link to my showreel;…
Yes, and I'm confident that the scripted style gameplay that the series is *very* famous for doesn't need to be explained to anyone in this thread. I still happen to think that the term 'actual gameplay' is misleading when you're not controlling the camera or any events occurring, that's all. The game is looking killer,…
Amazing updates and works you all! That is a lot better than, using an "engine" while working on the current wip and having the entire room, lights and all shutting down to the room i am in... explain that one, while everything else in the home is still on... suspecting somehow the psu isn't 100% adequate for the setup?…
Wrapped up the expression sculpts. If I were doing a likeness, I would try to spend more time here but I'm happy to just keep working through the pipeline for now. I removed all materials from the XRef-scenes but the DLL warning remain. There are no scene materials. I can't find the cause of the missing .gub files in the xref files. How should I remove them?
ok im just sorting out WF etc now... and breaK to answer your question its all baked from a high poly... id lover to use Ndo. but it refuses to work for me :S
The poses don't always have to match all the way through the pipeline. It might be more beneficial for artists to bend the arms in A pose and curl the fingers so they can be at the mid point of deformation like poopipe mentioned. But depending on the rigging system, that might be a nightmare to rig. I like to think of the…
hello like the title says im trying to figure out the best approach for making a brick wall and arch. im wanting to start a scene based on this piece of concept art and am not really sure if i should just photosource it and generate normals from something like crazybump which would work good for the flat surfaces but would…
