Hey guys, I have a problem, I hate Chamfer! I have this basic design I would like to chamfer so it would look metallic but when I do, it has some unwanted artefacts, they aren't huge but it bugs me so I ask you, what is the best way to do it?

Alrighty, messing with ink and paint shader in max and i'm trying to figure out how to use something similar to multi sub object while having the ink and paint shader on ... i found something called multi/sub map and it sorta works but the textures aren't mapping to the proper id's.
So ... im looking for a good FAST topology app i have tried zbrush zremesher and 3d coat but im not getting good results , thats for automatic topology so what about manual topology what is the best app for it ? and how do you guys do topology for small stuff as zippers or threads or zbrush complex geometry ( micro mesh )…
