Best point to start on making a house with a fully rendered interior?
Hey Polycount, i'm currently modelling a house based on the concept exterior and interior's I've sketched out. Turns out the rooms don't fit the shape of the house as much as I thought it would and scaling it up and down made it look off. Nice, I like how your shapes are pointing mostly toward the house to draw attention. I think you could also increase the lighting contrast between the house and the rest (maybe add a vignette and a light in front of the door that would create a nice color gradient on the walls ?). I'm not necessarily asking for the best method, but more so what you guys feel is the most efficient method of modeling and texturing houses. They don't look like stairs, they look like pillows that are stacked at a way which physics wouldn't actually allow. - The rocks need more work imo. Old house model from old plans
